This Privacy Policy explains how Stack ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website, dashboard, and related services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Account information: your name, username, email address, and password (stored in hashed form) when you register.
Verification and payout information: details needed to verify connected social accounts (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X) and to process withdrawals, including linked bank account details handled through our payment processing partner, Paystack.
Submission data: links, view counts, and engagement metrics associated with content you submit to a Stack, which we collect to verify and calculate payouts.
Usage data: information about how you interact with the Platform, such as pages visited and actions taken, collected automatically to help us maintain and improve the service.
We use the information we collect to operate the Platform, including creating and managing your account, matching you with relevant Stacks, verifying submissions, calculating and processing payouts, and communicating with you about your account or campaigns you've joined.
We also use aggregated or de-identified data to understand platform performance and improve how Stack works for creators and brands.
With campaign brands: information relevant to a submission (such as your username, submitted content, and view counts) is shared with the brand running that Stack so they can review and approve your submission.
With service providers: we share information with vendors who help us operate the Platform, including our payment processor (Paystack) for handling withdrawals, and infrastructure providers who host our data.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Stack, our users, or the public.
We retain your account and submission data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes.
You can review and update most of your account information directly from Settings. You may request deletion of your account from Settings → Security; note that some information may be retained where required by law or legitimate business need, such as records of completed payouts.
You can disconnect linked social accounts at any time from Settings → Connected Accounts.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
