Avoiding Fake-View Flags on Your Submissions

Platforms and Stack's own scraping systems both look for view patterns that don't match organic behavior: sudden unnatural spikes, view counts that don't correlate with likes or comments, or engagement from clearly bot-like accounts.

The easiest way to avoid a flag is simple: don't buy views or engagement, ever, even 'just to get started.' It's rarely worth the risk, since a flagged submission can void the payout for that post entirely and put future submissions under extra scrutiny.

If your content naturally goes viral and you're worried the spike will look suspicious, that's generally fine. Genuine viral spikes still show the engagement ratios (likes, comments, shares relative to views) that bot traffic doesn't.

If a submission is flagged and you believe it's a mistake, the rules tab and Help Center both link to how to raise a review, but the fastest path is simply never risking it in the first place. Staying within the rules is what keeps making money online with Stack sustainable long-term, instead of risking a payout over a shortcut.
